Health Hypnosis / Hypnotherapy
For many, a tougher war is waged solely within the subconscious itself. This is far more devastating because we often struggle to understand our own feelings. Unlike the conscious mind, the subconscious talks in picture, e.g. dreams. Without the ability to directly address the warring parts, the problems are often impossible to solve.
Wars that arise solely within the subconscious mind, occur when two parts of our subconscious disagree on behaviors or modes of being. Often the conflict is between emotions and feelings. Emotions drive us powerfully one way while our feelings drive us forcefully in the other direction. |

When two of the subconscious parts fight, problems like psychosomatic illness, result. Commonly, one subconscious part will cause health issues to prevent the other from getting what it wants. Often, that part causes physical pain so the person won’t have to experience emotional pain.
Therein lies the value of hypnosis / hypnotherapy. Approved by the American Medical Association in 1958 as a therapeutic modality, it can facilitate direct discussion between parts to end the war. The subconscious usually has the self’s best interest at heart. Unfortunately, strategies it adopts, aren’t always workable.
By ending the war in your head, a new, powerful collaboration emerges. As both sides unite with the self, great individual power is gained in two ways: First, all the power the two sides were squandering is now constructively available. Secondly, the union of all the parts creates a cohesive force that unleashes the mind’s untapped potential.
